Qualifications 
Graeme was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Count of Queensland in 1990 and in the High Court of Australia in March 1991.  He holds a Bachelor of laws, Master of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal practice fro the Queensland University of Technology.

Background
After being admitted to practice in 1990, Graeme worked in a small general practice at Cleveland until joining the Queensland Government in 1994.  Between 1994 and 2009 Graeme held senior legal and policy positions in the former Department of Natural Resources and mine, Department of Justice and Attorney-General and the Department of Communities.  During his career with Government Graeme developed significant experience in the areas of real property, land titles and valuation appeals; environmental and natural resources law; right to information and privacy legislation and judicial review.  
 
Interests  
Graeme is married with three children.  He has an abiding love of jazz music and is currently studying the violin.
